What is The Dating Loft about?

The Dating Loft is a members-only private dating agency, catering to an exclusive group of members from their mid 20s to 40s. Most are working professionals from the medical, legal, banking, finance, engineering, marketing and sales industries.

Set up in 2006, The Dating Loft is borne out of the founders’ real life experiences of dating in Singapore. Going on a dedicated dating journey over a period of six months, Beth went on over 100 blind dates and finally met her husband, Peter, at a house party organized for single friends. Ada signed up on numerous online dating sites, and msn-ed and emailed with plenty of singles before going on over 30 blind dates to finally meet her current fiancé. As the founders have gone through the whole gamut of dating in Singapore to find happiness, they can truly understand what the singles are going through and the choices (and limitations) in the market; and we are determined to offer more to the singles.

The Dating Loft officially threw open its doors at a characteristic loft-style shop house along Circular Road, behind the Singapore River and have subsequently matched countless couples together. We pioneered the concept of pre-matched small group dinners (we matched and hand-picked a group of 6-8 pax to know each other better over dinner) and is the first to offer BOTH pre-matched events as well one-on-one dates to our members.
